Hamilton County Residents Are Excited!

Sue, through her job at the city, quickly and efficiently solved a problem we were having with our local utility service. She is the kind of person who got involved in the problem and had it corrected immediately. We’ll expect the same results with her work as a Hamilton County Councilor.

Sue is an energetic and dedicated person. I have worked with her for many years with the Rotary International Youth Exchange program. Sue has served as a host parent and volunteer. She does what she says she will do and she always goes the extra mile. I highly endorse Sue for County Council.

We first met Sue through the Hamilton County Leadership Academy and have known her for many years. She is dependable, smart, and has an incredible work ethic in everything she does. We can not think of a better leader than Sue to represent the public on the Hamilton County Council.

I had the privilege of meeting Sue 27 years ago first, in our children's PTOs, then on to professional networking. Sue's devotion, love and commitment for her community are only surpassed by her city government qualifications. These traits make her the obvious choice for County Council at Large.

I have worked with Sue for several years on many different Rotary projects. She is the kind of person who gets things done. She is proactive, highly collaborative and easy to work with. I highly endorse Sue for Hamilton County Council!

I have known Sue for over 15 years having worked with her in the insurance brokerage industry. Sue's deep understanding of complex business operations will make her a great steward of our tax dollars.  Her corporate and municipal business experience is needed in Hamilton County. Sue is the choice to make as one of our County Councilors.

Common sense goals and objectives!

Supporting Public Safety Organizations

Ensuring the safety of our residents, whether they are at home, at work or on the roads in between. I fully support our public safety organizations – fire, police, civil service, etc. – and will never deny them the tools and training facilities they need to build successful departments that keep us safe. Two years ago I ran supporting the County Public Safety Training Facility
and I continue to do so.

Infrastructure Investment

We need to stay ahead of our growth in residents and commuters so that traffic can continue to move smoothly and in a safe manner. We need to avoid the temptation to kick important projects down the road, which only leads to dangerous delays in making our streets safer and more expensive projects in the future. I will support investments in traffic initiatives the keep cross-county movement ahead of the growth.

Comprehensive, Strategic Planning

The County is about to embark on an update to its comprehensive plan. I will work towards supporting planning and zoning that protects our open spaces, where needed, encourages smart growth in commercial and industrial areas, while at the same time preserving the many beautiful residential areas where people can live and raise a family while not being hindered with heavy taxes.

Our Parks and Greenspaces

I will support our beautiful county by protecting open space and enhancing multi-use trails. The Hamilton County Highway Department is working with Arcadia, Atlanta, Cicero and Noblesville to expand multi-use trails in the northern part of the County. This initiative and the assets of the Hamilton County Parks system consistently rate as the number one amenity our residents value and desire.
